Phoenix Building Projects

The 19th Wimbledon Scout Group has occupied its current site for over fifty years. The Phoenix emblem has been associated with the Group since the early 1990s, when the Headquarters was rebuilt following a fire in May 1989.

By 2010, the existing buildings had reached the end of their useful life, prompting the launch of the Phoenix 2 Project to rebuild the main Scout Hall. This phase was successfully completed in 2014.

Attention has now turned to the remaining buildings on the Headquarters site, which also require replacement. The Phoenix 3 Project has been established to deliver this next stage of redevelopment.
