Welcome to the website of the 19th Wimbledon Scout Group. Please browse through the different sections for details on contact information, meeting places and times. The 19th Wimbledon Scout Group was formed in 2002, when the 4th and 15th merged, and is part of the Wimbledon & Wandle District.
Our sections have started back with a mixture of face to face, virtual meetings and online activities taking place, We are currently waiting on further Government announcements and guidance from the Scout Association. All face to face or virtual online activities in each section will be organised by invitation in Online Scout Manager. Please see Online Scout Manager (OSM) or the Group Facebook page for further information.
Please do not bring your child to the Group HQ for a section meeting or activity unless registered for the event in Online Scout Manager.
The lockdown restrictions have caused us to cancel or put on hold some of our larger outdoor activities (camps and so on). We will continue to monitor the government and Scout Association advice, review all our activities and keep you informed of decisions as soon as we can.
If anyone has any questions or concerns please email email@example.com

We are always looking for individuals prepared to give up some of their time to help either formally, through the warrant system, or informally as required from time to time. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the section leaders directly.
Would you like to be part of a successful leadership team, make a real difference to young people’s lives
and have a positive impact on society?
We are recruiting now in all sections of the Group to strengthen our adult leadership team.
No previous experience or skills are required. There is a range of roles available and any necessary training will be provided. All you need is an enthusiasm to help Scouting actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
Being a leader in Scouting is hugely rewarding and is great fun. It will give you the chance to try new activities and experiences and develop your own confidence and skills such as leadership, team working and planning, which will be of value to you and employers.
Currently we are urgently looking for a Cub Leader (Akela) for our Oakwood Cub Pack and an Assistant Scout Leader for the Scout Troop.
If you think you might be interested in these or other opportunities please visit our Volunteering webpage.
