Membership Subscriptions (Subs)
For our young people, we ask families to contribute a small amount for subscriptions (subs) each term (this pays for things like insurance and equipment), and to contribute to the cost of camps and activities. We are a registered charity (Reg. Charity No: 303793), and all the subscriptions we receive go directly to activities - all our leaders are 100% unpaid volunteers. Bursaries are available - we believe that no young person should be prevented from joining because of cost.
Payment
Subs are due at the start of each school term. The current subscription for a Beaver, Cub or Scout is £30 per term, payable by cash, cheque or BACS transfer. Cheques should be made payable to "19th Wimbledon Scout Group".
If you bank online and would like further details on setting up a BACS payment please e-mail the Group Treasurer at treasurer@19thwimbledonscouts.co.uk, for the Scout Group's banking details.
Gift Aid
The Gift Aid Scheme enables us to reclaim basic rate tax on membership subscriptions, without posing any further obligations on the payer. Please sign up if possible, as this continues to provide a useful boost to our finances.
